Often, results of critically important research become available for publication and/or presentation after the regular abstract submission deadline. Recognizing this, we allow authors to submit late-breaking abstracts.
Abstracts submitted in this category report novel, urgent and clinically significant findings that could not have been anticipated before the regular abstract submission deadline. They should also be new and different from the data that were available for previous presentations at the NCS Annual Meeting.
Late-breaking abstracts are grouped into non-industry and industry late-breaking categories for review and presentation. The top-scoring abstracts in each category will be selected for oral presentation in a scientific late-breaking oral abstract session at the 2025 International Congress. The remaining abstracts will be presented as a poster. Acceptance for both types of late-breaking abstract presentations is based on the evaluation by the Scientific Planning Committee and the availability of space at the congress. Presenting Authors of accepted late-breaking abstracts must be registered for the Congress and complete financial disclosure by Tuesday, June 17. Travel/hotel accommodations and fees are the responsibility of the presenting authors. Neither the abstract nor the corresponding author can be withdrawn after this date. In addition, the final version of the abstract must be submitted by Wednesday, August 30 for inclusion in the Congress program book. The final abstract must be a full report of the research and results, and must comply with all submission guidelines. Any changes from the original submission must be clearly reflected in the final abstract.
